Ordering process, easy and convenient

 

How can I order from the MetGIS Online Shop?

 

1. Shopping Cart

During the ordering process, you will first be informed in detail about the characteristics of the selectable products and their prices. Select the products you wish to order by clicking the "Add to Cart" button. This will place your selection in the shopping cart. You can change this selection at any time before submitting your order by clicking the "Remove item" icon or "Empty cart" or by canceling the ordering process. By clicking the "Proceed to Checkout" button, you move to the next step of the ordering process.

2. Checkout

Please log in with your email address and password if you already have a customer account; otherwise, please register as a new customer. You will then receive a confirmation email for your registration. Your data will be collected, processed, and used in compliance with data protection regulations (Privacy Notice). By clicking the "Continue" button, you move to the next step of the ordering process.

3. Check Billing Address / Select Payment Method

Now check your billing address and select your preferred payment method. By clicking the "Continue" button, you move to the next step of the ordering process.

4. Complete Order

You will receive an overview of your order: the selected products, the billing address, the payment method, and your contact details. Check that all the information is correct and please read the General Terms and Conditions carefully. You can only proceed with the order if you confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions (check the box). After clicking the "Place Order" button, you can proceed with your payment.

5. Payment

In the window that now opens, you enter the credit card or account details required for the transfer of your payment to the provider's account, depending on the selected payment method. The payment process handled through this window is processed via our international payment provider Stripe. Stripe uses specialized software for secure payment processing.

6. After Successful Payment

Once the payment process is successfully completed, you will be redirected to a page informing you that we have received your order. You can also print your order confirmation here.

Subsequently, you will be informed about the receipt of your order via the email address you provided and will receive information on how to access the weather data, possibly including an API key.

At the same time, you will receive another email with your invoice.

7. Cancellation

Users of subscription products can cancel the ongoing delivery of weather data by selecting in your customer area "View Order" (appears in the row of your ordered product) and then deactivating your subscription below the billing information.
